PWF Heat of Battle 2017
August 26, 2017

-During the eight-man tag team match with Samoa Joe, Chris Jericho, Brent
Albright and Chris Benoit against Ken Kennedy, Chris Hero, Adam Pearce and
Edge, Pearce refused to tag-in or assist teammate Kennedy. Joe violently
tried to get to Kennedy, but was interceded by Pearce. Kennedy shoved Pearce.
Pearce slapped Kennedy across the face and the two commenced fighting around
ringside. Jericho dropkicked Edge off the ring apron and proceeded to spin-kick
Benoit in the stomach and shove Albright off the ring apron into the guard
rail. Jericho climbed the ropes to dropkick Joe, but was caught by Joe and sent
flying off the turnbuckle through a ringside table. Hero quickly went after the
distracted Joe and beat him down. Hero executed the Hero Stomp on Joe and
proceeded to execute the Hero's Welcome on Joe for the victory. All eight men
commenced brawling in and around the ring as referees and officials failed to
restore order.

-During the event, it was announced the 2017 PWF Tag League would be a
sixteen-team single elimination tournament consisting of:
