4/15/17: PWF Showdown CX

Interview:
Capital Regime interview

("Live To Win" by Motorhead played as the Capital Regime: Brent Albright, Chris
Benoit, Eddie Guerrero and Dean Malenko came to the ring to huge cheers from
the crowd.)

Brent Albright: Larry Sweeney, you'll never learn to simply shut your mouth,
will you? Well, that's fine. I don't need you anymore and I didn't need you
from the start. Don't ever try and tell me that you're responsible for my
success here in the PWF. I beat Bret Hart because I wanted it more than he did.
It had nothing to do with you, Chris Hero or the Kings of Wrestling. You
fellows better understand that it's not just the Kings of Wrestling against
Brent Albright. It's not even the Kings of Wrestling against the Capital
Regime. It's the Kings of Wrestling against everybody else, just like it's us
against everybody else. People in the PWF have finally smartened up and
realized that sometimes it's not who's better, it's who's got more power.

Chris Benoit: I'm going to make it quite clear for Ken Kennedy and his faction
right now. Instead of being a coward and standing in a ring with five guys
protecting you, why don't you come around and find any of the four men in this
ring, we'll step out back and we'll show you just how it is somebody like you
is taken care.

(The Capital Regime left the ring.)

Interview:
Can-Am Express interview

("Break Down The Wall" by Jim Johnston played as the Can-Am Express: Chris
Jericho, Lance Storm, Jerry Lynn and Alex Shelley came to the ring to huge
cheers from the crowd.)

Chris Jericho: Don Callis and the Border City Connection seem to feel that
you're in some position of power and that you're going to dictate how the
Can-Am Express conducts its business. Callis, Edge, Christian, Rhino and Punk,
understand that just because you say something, doesn't make it so. Callis, I
think deep down, you and your crew are Jericholics and simply don't know how to
get close to me, so you put together this Border City Connection and hope I'll
somehow be friends with you. Boys, I didn't come back to the PWF looking to
waste all my time with you, but until the Can-Am Express is satisfied, we'll
have to consider you fellows nothing more than a bunch of ring rats that we
must destroy at any cost. Best way to get away from a rat is to ignore them,
but they'll never truly go away. So in this case, I guess we'll have to simply
exterminate you from our radar and go on to climb to the top of the PWF as you
amateurs try and salvage your last shred of dignity.

(The fans cheered Jericho.)

Chris Jericho: We wouldn't be much of a faction if we didn't have something to
say in regard to Ken Kennedy's little diatribe about his standing in the PWF.
Kennedy, you've got one guy with a broken mask. One guy with a stupid tattoo on
his face. One guy with more hair on his chest than Paul Heyman has on his
entire body. One other guy who doesn't understand that wearing sunglasses
doesn't mean anything and one other guy in Dave Finlay who you coaxed into
joining back up with you, feeling you didn't have even fire power. Kennedy, you
still don't have enough fire power and you're never going to. Kennedy, talk as
loud as you want, but remember it's hard to talk when you're unconscious on the
mat and I'm pinning you with one foot on your chest, you assclown.

(The Can-Am Express left the ring to huge cheers from the crowd.)

Alex Shelley pinned CM Punk with the Shell Shock in 0:20:08.

Interview:
Greatest Stable Period interview

("Limb From Limb" by Motorhead played as the Greatest Stable Period: James
Gibson, PWF World Tag Team Champions Adam Pearce & Roderick Strong and BJ
Whitmer came to the ring to huge boos from the crowd.)

James Gibson: I've never taken defeat easily and I'm not about to start now. I
lost the PWF Double Crown Championship to Nigel McGuinness. I lost it. However,
Nigel, I haven't begun to forget about you because when a man beats me, he
accomplished something. Nigel, you're certainly getting your work in lately.
You're the reigning PWF Champions Cup winner and now, you're the reigning PWF
Double Crown Champion. Good for you, also bad for you. Why you ask? Because
now, you've got a big bull's-eye on your back and it just so happens, I've got
me a pretty damn big rifle that I intend to impose on your sorry ass.

Adam Pearce: It occurs to me that the Greatest Stable Period is dismissed as a
secondary group of athletes who are content with their place within the PWF.
Sure, Roderick Strong and I are the PWF World Tag Team Champions, we're the
reigning PWF Tag League Champions to boot, but I know that no member of this
organization is satisfied. Kennedy, you see, what you've done is you've
inspired me. Kennedy, you made a statement about being the top dog. Well, if
you believe everything Paul Heyman tells you, then you should be dead in about
sixty seconds. Kennedy, the term "Greatest Stable Period" isn't simply a name
for our organization, it's the truth! We are a group of men who have always
taken matters into our own hands and now, more than ever, we intend upon
carrying out our own plans. Maybe they involve you, maybe they don't, but
remember this: when you want a battle for supremacy, you come and find us and
we'll show you what it means to be the top dog.

(The Greatest Stable Period left the ring.)

Mike Quackenbush pinned Ted DiBiase with the Quackendriver in 0:32:11.
Rating: *****
(Mike Quackenbush won the PWF Million Dollar Championship.)

Interview:
Samoa Joe interview

("The Champ is Here" by Jadakiss played as PWF World Heavyweight Champion Samoa
Joe came to the ring to huge cheers from the crowd.)

Samoa Joe: Did I miss something? Did I lose my strap? Or is it that every
member of this company has simply lost his mind? Kennedy, you are quite the
strategist, I'll give you that. What you've done is not only got me looking to
rip your heart of your chest, but you've got five groups of men who would
gladly do the exact same. Kennedy, you mention being the top dog, well, you're
certainly the top asshole, but beyond that you're not at the top of anything.
Simply coming to the ring, flanked by a new total of six men doesn't impress me
and it doesn't make me the least bit intimidated of you. Kennedy, you're no
more than a coward with a big mouth who needs to be shut the fuck up, once and
for all. The title belt that is around my waist says "wrestling champion." If
you ever wear this title belt again, you can run your mouth all you like, but
until that day comes, I'd recommend you keep your mouth shut.

(Joe left the ring to huge cheers from the crowd.)
