2/27/07: PWF Tuesday Night Wrestling #8

Interview:
Ric Flair discusses his title defense

("2001: A Space Odyssey" by Vangelis played as PWF World Heavyweight Champion
Ric Flair came to the ring with The Four Horsemen: Vader, Curt Hennig and Jeff
Jarrett to boos from the crowd.)

Ric Flair: All of you expected to see "The Nature Boy" drop to his knees and
beg for his life to The Rock. You all were waiting for The Rock to drive his
elbow into my chest and take my title. You all forget who The Rock was dealing
with. The dirtiest player in the game always finds a way to win and SuperClash
was another for the record books.

(The fans booed.)

Ric Flair: I'd bet you're all expecting The Rock to storm out and demand
another title shot, but at Battle Lines, PWF Owner Eric Bischoff has already
signed the main event, that being the biggest tag team match of all-time: The
Rock and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. "Hollywood" Hulk Hogan and "The Nature
Boy." Me and Hogan have never gotten along. Quite frankly, I have no use for
the man, but at Battle Lines, the two biggest stars in wrestling history are
going to give The Rock and Austin a history lesson. WHOO!

("2001: A Space Odyssey" by Vangelis played as The Four Horsemen left the ring
to boos from the crowd.)

Interview:
Mick Foley challenges Shane Douglas one last time

("Wreck" by Jim Johnston played as Mick Foley came to the ring to cheers from
the crowd.)

Mick Foley: What took place at SuperClash with my Triple Threat losing to Shane
Douglas' Triple Threat isn't what was supposed to happen. Foley, Funk and Sabu
should have mopped the floor with Douglas, Bigelow and Candido. Well, at least
in years padded we would have. Shane Douglas has kicked my ass all over the
PWF since the start and I'm tired of it. Shane, all I'm looking for is one more
chance. My Triple Threat versus your Triple Threat: Loser Leaves Town Match.
Me, Terry and Sabu are not going to get anywhere with you in the PWF and quite
frankly, if we can't beat you guys one time, we don't belong in the PWF. Shane,
if we lose, we'll leave, but if we beat you, you three take the walk.

("Perfect Strangers" by Deep Purple played as Shane Douglas came to the ring to
boos from the crowd.)

Shane Douglas: Foley, generally I'd call you a idiot for challenging The Triple
Threat again, but for once, you've made some sense. We accept your challenge
and let me tell you something, Foley. It's going to do me great pride to kick
your ass right out of the PWF. Be prepared to get franchised!

(Douglas threw the microphone at Foley, made the Triple Threat sign and left
the ring to boos from the crowd.)
