PWF Heat of Battle 2016
August 27, 2016

-During the Steel Cage match between Samoa Joe and Kevin Steen, Paul Heyman sat
in the front of the audience. Following the match, Steen left the cage with
manager Sweeney and walked backstage. As Joe stood in the cage alone, the
lights went out, leaving everyone in confusion. As the lights came back om,
Abyss made his return to the PWF as he executed the Black Hole Slam on Joe.
Abyss kicked the cage door off it's hinges and left the area as Heyman got up
from his seat and left ringside.

-During the Falls Count Anywhere match between Brent Albright and Bret Hart,
Albright told manager Larry Sweeney to stand back and let him handle things.
Albright and Hart and brawled all over the ringside area and into the crowd.
The match went back and forth with both men gaining control at one point.
Inside the ring, Albright Irish whipped Hart into the turnbuckle and quickly
slid out of the ring. Albright tripped Hart and flipped him over. Albright
pulled Hart's legs around the ringpost and applied a ringpost figure-four to
Hart. As Hart screamed in pain, Albright could be heard mimicking Hart by
proclaiming himself "The best there is, the best there was and the best there
will be." Referee Nick Patrick tested Hart's arm and brought it up for the
three count. Hart's arm fell to the mat and Patrick called for the bell and
awarded the match to Albright. Albright released the hold and climbed back into
the ring. Albright stood over Hart and grabbed Hart's arm and held it in the
air, mocking Hart based on his statements earlier in the month.

-During the PWF World Heavyweight Championship match between champion Chris
Hero and challenger Nigel McGuinness, Larry Sweeney stood in the corner of
Hero. McGuinness applied the Thames Barrier to Hero as Sweeney jumped on the
ring apron and grabbed Referee Mike Kehner and began yelling at him regarding
his officiating work. Kings of Wrestling member Claudio Castagnoli quickly hit
the ring as Hero could be seen tapping out to McGuinness' submission hold.
Castagnoli slid into the ring and laid McGuinness out with a lariat. Castagnoli
executed the UBS Neckbreaker on McGuinness and slid out of the ring. Hero
applied the Hangman's Clutch to McGuinness as Sweeney got off the ring apron.
McGuinness passed out in the Hangman's Clutch and Hero was awarded the victory.
