PWF GrandSlam 2016
July 30, 2016
-During the Kings of Wrestling (Chris Hero & Kevin Steen) vs. Samoa Joe and
Nigel McGuinness match, Larry Sweeney stood in the corner of Hero & Steen; Paul
Heyman sat in the front row of the audience with his locked on Samoa Joe
throughout the match. With Steen and Joe as the legal men, they took the match
to the ringside area. Steen and Joe traded fists. Joe whipped Steen into the
guard rail and prepared to run through him with a running boot. In mid-sprint,
Sweeney wound up and nailed Joe with a steel chair across the head as Hero
distracted the referee, complaining about the tag rope. Steen grabbed Joe and
rolled him into the ring. Steen executed the Yakuza Kick on Joe and covered him
for the victory as Heyman got up from his seat and left the area.
