CM Punk interview

(Following the match, CM Punk requested a microphone.)

CM Punk: I stand here, before God and my father in Heaven tonight, as I said I
would be World Heavyweight Champion. From the Bret Harts, to the Chris Heros,
to the Samoa Joes, I accept this World Heavyweight title. Wait a second...wait
a second. And to every other man in the PWF, you can all kiss my ass!

(Punk throws down the PWF World Heavyweight Championship to the shock of the
entire crowd and Samoa Joe.)

CM Punk: Because I am not the man who accepts the torch to be handed down to me
from an organization that has no pride, that has no respect and that has no
heart.

(PWF Owner Jim Cornette quickly came to the ring with a confused look on his
face.)

CM Punk: I am CM Punk, the man who ignites the new flame of professional
wrestling. Tonight, before God and my father as witness, I declare myself, as
the new ECW World Heavyweight Champion. We have set out to change the face of
professional wrestling. So, tonight, let the new era begin. The era of the
sport of professional wrestling. The era of the CM Punk. The era of extreme!

(A shocked Jim Cornette was asking Punk what he was going. Cornette, crazed,
got right in Punk's face as Punk smiled at him and pointed behind Cornette
where Paul Heyman & 911 stood with former PWF wrestlers Jerry Lynn, Bam Bam
Bigelow, Chris Candido, Lance Storm and Yoshihiro Tajiri. Heyman blasted
Cornette in the head with a cell phone and laid him out. Joe went after Heyman
as The Sandman hopped the guard rail and blasted Joe with a Singapore cane. PWF
wrestlers, Chris Hero and Claudio Castagnoli (w/Larry Sweeney) quickly hit the
ring to defend their promotion. The Dudley Boys (Buh Buh Ray, D-Von)
hopped the guard rail and laid out Hero and Castagnoli. The Dudley Boys
set up a table and 911 chokeslammed Sweeney through the table. Bryan Danielson
led Team Small Package (Davey Richards, Austin Aries, Roderick Strong and Curt
Hennig) to the ring and squared off with the ECW invaders. Taz, Rob Van Dam and Sabu
(w/Bill Alfonso) hopped the ringside guard rail and destroyed Team Small Package. Taz suplexed Danielson over the top-rope to the floor as RVD and Sabu smashed Aries and
Strong with steel chairs. Sabu threw a chair at Hennig's face as RVD hit the
Van Daminator on Richards. The Briscoe Brothers (Jay & Mark Briscoe) hit the
ring and immediately went after Heyman and 911. The Briscoe Brothers were
quickly re-buffed as The Dudley Boys laid them out with chair shots. Perry Saturn, Doug Williams, Homicide, Chavo Guerrero Jr. and Rey Mysterio Jr. ran to the ring to help save their fellow PWF members, but were quickly disposed of by more invading ECW wrestlers in the form of Steve Corino and Justin Credible. BJ Whitmer, Nigel McGuiness, Christopher Daniels and James Gibson hit the ring, but were no match to the now
throng of ECW wrestlers. AJ Styles, Chris Jericho and Alex Shelley rushed to the ring and were met by Rhino and Mikey Whipwreck. Rhino gored Styles from the ring apron to the ringside floor as Whipwreck broke a set of a steel chairs over the faces of Jericho and Shelley. Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko, Eddie Guerrero, Dave Finlay and Steve Regal walked to the ring determined to fight for the PWF. They were pummeled and left for dead by Jerry Lynn, Lance Storm, Yoshihiro Tajiri, Bam Bam Bigelow and Chris Candido. The final five PWF wrestlers came to the ring, in the form of The Hart Foundation (Bret Hart, Jim Neidhart, Owen Hart, Davey Boy Smith and Dynamite Kid). The Hart Foundation squared off with ECW, but were quickly jumped by Raven and Tommy Dreamer. Paul Heyman stood proudly in the ring with ECW as every member of the PWF lie on the floor, beaten and battered. Heyman got on the microphone.)

Paul Heyman: Ladies and gentlemen, you have just been re-introduced to the
tribe of extreme! You're looking at the future of professional wrestling. You
have just been witness to the re-birth of E-C-W. The PWF roster has just made
an example of what happens when you fuck with the wrong group of people, you
get your asses handed to you and your lives torn to fucking shreds. The PWF is
dead and in it's place, ECW will live and I'd love to see somebody try and
fucking stop us!

(Heyman and ECW left the ring and the arena.)
