-PWF announced the formation of the Quadrathlon Survivor Ranking System to rank
each team of four to challenge for the PWF Quadrathlon Survivor Championship.

-PWF announced the formation of a PWF Tag Team League to commence at PWF Tag
League on September 27, 2008. The event would consist of a one-night tag team
torunament. PWF World Tag Team Champions Team Tap Out (Chris Benoit and Dean Malenko) announced they would be vacating the titles and putting them up in the PWF Tag Team League tournament.
